Listen to M&G Ensemble with friends (lots of them)- recorded live at  Flandrew’s FLOFT, July 8, 2011

History scrapbook:

The Metal & Glass Ensemble’s origins reach back to the humble Shoebox Performance Loft days of the 1990’s.  Originally a quintet with voice, the group now waxes and wanes between 2-20 performers.

The group’s work has always been drone based, acoustic, & microtonal.

Today the core group expands on a regular basis to include quite a number of area improvisers.

  3. Hi Matt, I wanted to find out more about your concert series at the advent library….seems like a great series and I work with some artists that might be a really good fit…also – thanks for posting the live stuff of the M and G ensemble – very cool!
